Hello! Thank you for finding your way to my profile and I look forward to meeting you and helping you move towards a happier and more fulfilled life!

I am a Registered General Nurse and Counsellor having developed a role for myself in supporting those patients receiving bad news or with coming to terms with a life changing diagnosis, or altered body image. My clinic has been established since 2000. I am an active member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. In January 2006 I joined a partnership of counsellors working for a large GP. practice in North Oxfordshire. The whole process of learning, development and self discovery in this field has been life changing and enlightening having had the privilege of helping individuals through a variety of difficulties.

The basis of my practice is in humanist psychology, a person centred approach which recognises that each person has an inbuilt ability to grow and achieve their full potential in order to live a more resourceful life, as well as determining and achieving personal goals. I see coaching as a natural progression from counselling, something that may be particularly beneficial to individuals in a variety of circumstances. My own objective is to help as many people as possible to motivate themselves to live life to the fullest, achieving their goals by tapping into their hidden potential. While studying counselling I made a very strong connection with the empowerment that this therapy offers the client and within which, as nurses we give to our patients to overcome ill health.

Since training with Benjamin as a Happy Hour Practitioner in 2007 I have gained experience in his methodology while working with individuals over a wide variety of issues including damaging habitual activities, lack of confidence and low self esteem, relationship matters, identity/ self image, receipt of bad news, and assertiveness.

The beauty of "Happy Hour" is the simplicity in its structure and the ability for clients to start making a difference to their lives straight away. This is a therapy that is available and affordable. There is no need for anyone to feel damaged or sabotaged by their problems anymore! I look forward to welcoming you to my practice for Happy Hour in Oxford or Banbury to give you the opportunity to resolve whatever it is making you unhappy.
