Denyse Whillier

After studying for a degree in French and Spanish, I began my career in Social Services. I specialised in working with older people and their carers and developed an interest in running training courses and facilitating groups.
I worked my way up the management ranks and have been Chief Executive of a medium sized charity for the past four years. I consult within organisations on managing change, facilitate team building and advise on crisis/ stress management. I work with CEOs and Senior Management Team Members, but my real passion is working on a one to one basis to facilitate change and personal growth.
I have undertaken a four year training in transpersonal psychotherapy and worked over 1800 client hours in private practice and at placements with Mind and the St Marylebone Parish Church Centre for Healing and Counselling. I am experienced in working with a range of problems including depression, illness, bereavement, abuse, personal and family relationships.
I decided to train with Benjamin Fry because his particular approach enables people to achieve positive and rapid changes in their lifestyle and behaviour and to take control of their lives. Drawing from the insights of psychotherapy, I believe that this form of psychological coaching can help people to better understand what is holding them back and to develop practical and achievable strategies that make life more successful and enjoyable.
