"Be the change that you want to see in the world" Gandhi
I am a Self-Development Practitioner with an Advanced Certificate in Counselling and I specialise in working with parents and parents to be. I believe that with happier parents there will be happier children, families and therefore communities. As a mother myself I have a personal insight into the complex issues that arise (feelings from childhood, isolation, relationship changes, peer pressure, work/life balance... the list is endless!). In addition to this I am a guest expert advisor for Pregnancy & Birth magazine and I am also a trained Breastfeeding Counsellor.
I am Founder/Artistic Director of Realeyes Community Theatre Company, which has enabled me to combine my psychological and professional theatre background. I have created and facilitated hundreds of self-development workshops designed to address key social issues affecting people's everyday lives, such as; peer-pressure, bullying and relationships.
I decided to become a Happy Hour practitioner because the structure of work is very accessible and pro-active - empowering and enabling people to make the positive changes they want for themselves. The Happy Hour system works fast, which is ideal for busy lives.
I am very keen to work with parents-to-be, parents, young people (18+), teachers and those who want more creativity in their lives. I enjoy working collaboratively with a client to achieve long lasting positive changes in a short period of time.
